Designed for business units & organizations who want to draft a set of authentic values that drive their culture. (Available in Half-Day and Full-Day formats)

So you have articulated your organization's Statement of Purpose--great! (if not, this workshop might be a better place to start) But an S.O.P. isn't enough, no matter how good it is. The reason being that a statement of purpose gives no guidelines for how employees should act in pursuit of that vision. Your values are what give team members the immediate pathway towards executing on your purpose. They not only set the tone for your culture, but they also guide the way in which you approach product development, your relationship with your customers, and your hiring pipeline just to name a few. In this workshop, we'll take a similar story-based, data-driven approach and develop a short list of action-oriented values that feel natural and meaningful.

Full Context of the Values

Using the simple model of Simon Sinek's "Golden Circle" to illustrate the relationship between Why, How, and What you do, your team will go through the examples of your current & past Hows to build the action statements of your company's values.

A Set of Values & Implementation Ideas

Your team will leave the day with a list of data-based values, framed in action-oriented language. Once formed, we will spend some of the workshop actually going through areas of your org that will be affected and brainstorming ways to implement the values in each.

Unity in Message and Messaging

Over the course of the day, your team members will share stories that have shaped your culture and ultimately your values. Through these shared experiences & stories, you will be well equipped to communicate the values to the rest of the org, as well as how they look in action.
